Working with the Watts Group and Lepic Kroeger, we began putting together single-page micro sites for residential real estate listings, as seen here. Today we have released our first micro site for commercial property in the Iowa City area.

Micro sites have the enhanced ability to be elegant, and yet straight to the point. Web visitors can find themselves lost on your website with too many links and pages. If you have a single, clear purpose, then the micro site is the ideal solution.

Iowa City Fitness Revamped

Not often do our website design jobs coincide with an extensive remodel of the physical space it represents. Iowa City Fitness, however, was a different story!

Iowa City Fitness, headed by George Etre, has undergone a serious feat of construction adding a new feel to the interior space along with a slew of brand new, state of the art, equipment.

George and Marc Moen, who owns hotelVetro and Plaza Towers, where the fitness facility is located, contacted us to help them with the web side of things. They wanted a website that matched the new color scheme of the facility, and the overall philosophy.

The new website features a color-matched theme, enhanced functionality using AJAX and PHP backend coding, and drastically quicker loading times powered by our multi-billion dollar datacenters with bandwidth provided by Internap, Level3, and Cogent Communications.

Owners Larissa and Averi approached us when their business was ready for online scheduling. They wanted an easy to navigate website that went well with their logo, and showcased photos of many of their happy (furry) customers!

CSC Expands Across Iowa

Willow Day Spa, owned and operated by Brooke Hodge, desired an online presence.

Brooke’s needs were simple: she wanted to showcase her services, highlighting some of her unique offerings compared to other area salon’s such as certified Novalash Eyelash Extensions. She also needed to feature special packages that can be rotated out seasonally, as business demands.

Prime Ventures Construction

Prime Ventures, in conjunction with Watts Development Group, came to us with a new vision.

They previously had a website with lots of information on their homes, listings, services, and staff however they wanted a website that would empower their brand and facilitate their business.

We redesigned their website from the ground up, with a two-tiered architecture. Utilizing the latest in MySQL database technology and methodologies, we created a core structure based on their main business entity: the home.

The site revolves around the home, from the details of each (price, square footage, pictures, and more) to which subdivision they reside in. This allows us to build a robust website that can pull all homes from the database and display in order of size, price, and more.

With having a database foundation, we built in the functionality for Prime Venture staff to update and post new homes on their own. With minimal training, they are now adding new listings and making modifications to their new site on the fly, as business demands it.

SkinDeep Salon & Spa

Skin Deep Salon & Spa provides top quality massage and skin care needs. Tracy Lacina, founder of the new North Liberty business, is certified in Oncology Esthetics and employs more than 5 other certified specialists in-house. Skin Deep specializes in facials, men’s facials, and body wraps, using a variety of techniques.

Tracy came to us desiring a website that matched the feel of her salon: warm. We used similar colors from her interior design and added an easy ajax popup for store location and hours. We also had her site live by their January 1st grand opening deadline.

Eggy’s On 965

Having eaten at Eggy’s many times, we were ready to sink our teeth into this project right away. We went about content collection through an on-site evaluation for the style of the space as well as using colors consistent with the interior and exterior decor.

Menu items were digitized off of their menu as well as images sent to us straight from the kitchen, and these were populated throughout the site.

Eggy’s new website will be a place to review their menu, check out party pics from events, book your own event, learn more about the owner Mark Eggleston, and check out the daily specials.

A revolutionary new childcare service for the local community, CollegeSitterConnection.com provides quality student sitters who are actively pursuing degrees in Child Development, Education, or other related fields, pass stringent background checks, and more to modern families.

Whether an unexpected meeting arises, or they just want a night on the town, CSC allows parents to setup an account and be online booking their sitters in under five minutes. The account creation process is intelligent, and allows parents to search by either the desired date or their preferred sitters specifically.

Booking is simple and quick. After the request is received, the sitter is notified via SMS text message and can log in to either Accept or Decline. Parents accrue booking and all sitter fees through CSC directly and are charged securely on their Visa or Mastercard at the end of the month.
